the internet sensation..
It was the time when internet started slowly swallowing the towns and suburbs.
At my college there was my friend who is a very normal person except for his uncharacteristic ,unexplainable, unnatural...what ever...crush towards our lecturer(oops!). he kept on dreaming about her ,he never minded what ever, how ever we may made fun of him, she (lecturer) was friendly to him as she was with every one, but he kept on enhancing stories to his advantage. When we were thinking how long this would go ,the story came to a grinding halt when She left our college marrying some one in US.
Now without much options he consoled himself and started penning few sad poems(I vomited thrice after reading it).
When I thought finally it's all over, one fine day with a bright face and a big smile he walked to me and told that he wants me to join with him at the internet center that evening for an important reason. I was little skeptical as we had our semester exams starting the very next day but by being influenced by a free browsing offer I joined him at a public internet center.
He told me that he has received a mail from our lecturer and he wanted me to compose a Best wishes mail as a reply to her.(English genius at work..).
After few hick ups I managed to compose a mail to his satisfaction and when I was about to send ,his romantic eye opened . he requested me to attach a F1 car picture to the mail as she is very fond of it . Un expecting this, I Googled and saved a Ferrari picture to the local system, with a default file name of the picture(lengthy numeric junk name). I asked him to remember the file name as it would be easier to attach. When I tried attaching there were more than a pic shown in the browse window. Being confused I asked him for the file name, he showed me the file and I selected it. The mail is now sent. With a mild doubt in my mind I tried opening the file which I just sent,guess what...................oh my god!!! believe me that was not the picture I just saved ,its a ....its a....porno(what !....shame shame puppy shame picture).
We looked in to each other eyes as if some one stabbed in to our bellies....after regaining consciousness and tried all possibilities(save sent messages option was disabled in his mail box to verify) in vain. finally we decided to send an apology mail and sent a note that picture was attached by mistake and we are extremely sorry for that.
Although an apology was in place I was not able to accept the fact that a newly married woman receiving wishes with an attached porno picture that too a lecturer!. This thought completely haunted me the whole night and preparation for the next day exam was totally an out of box thought.
Some how , with no much options forcing fear aside we took the exams the next day but we kept wondering what she would have replied to the mail, we were also looking for the principal to enter the class room any time to chuck us out of the college.
As soon as the examination was over we were rushing to the internet center ,we were stopped by our class mate. He told us that the before day he chatted with ma'm …now what ………..and he told that …Madam thanked u guys for a wonderful mail you guys sent yesterday" ."@#$#$%^^$####%%...............what!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " wait....what is happening in this world.......we managed not to faint and asked him ....are you sure she said these(doubting sarcasm)...he said "yes!". We kept on asking him if she told anything else....after a deep though he told that......."ya! she also told that she was not able to understand the context of the second mail you guys sent and she asked 'sorry' for what! and what picture !!!!"...........he continued ,"by the way what picture you guys sent..…?" , we gave him a big grin of our life...and walked away with relief......................

The English genius(now an internet genius) haven't attached a file before, assumed that just by mere browsing and selecting a file would attach a file to the mail(attach button was not clicked).
................Rarely ignorance brings relief and this was one such occasion.............
